Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the editorial review process take?
Preliminary screening takes 7 working days. Full peer review takes 3 to 4 weeks. Authors are notified promptly at each stage.
Can I submit if I am not a NIDAN research fellow?
Yes. NIDAN accepts submissions from all serious researchers including law students, practitioners, academics, and policy professionals. You do not need to be a fellow to publish with us.
Do you accept submissions from outside India?
We consider submissions from international contributors provided the research is directly relevant to Indian law, policy, or governance.
Is there a submission fee?
No. NIDAN does not charge submission or publication fees. We are an independent, non-commercial platform.
